Terms of Service
Last updated August 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of BrandGuard, built by IpsoLux (“we”, “us”), at brandguard.ipsolux.com and the BrandGuard app. By creating an account or otherwise using BrandGuard, you agree to them. If you’re using BrandGuard on behalf of a company or team, you’re confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for that organization.
The beta
BrandGuard is currently in a free, invite-only beta. That means, specifically for the beta:
- Access is granted individually and may be limited, changed, or ended at any time, with or without notice.
- A beta account’s free access window is time-limited (currently 2 weeks from activation) — once it ends, the account is locked until we reach out about what’s next.
- Features, limits, and the product itself may change, break, or be removed without notice — it’s a beta.
- No uptime, availability, or data-retention guarantee applies during the beta.
- We may ask for feedback and may use it, without attribution, to improve BrandGuard.
Your account
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. Tell us right away at studio@ipsolux.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use BrandGuard for anything illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Try to access another organization’s data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without permission.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell BrandGuard, or use it to build a competing product.
- Abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users (e.g. automated excessive requests).
- Connect a social account you don’t have the right to connect, or upload brand assets you don’t have the right to use.
Your content
You keep ownership of whatever you upload or connect — brand guidelines, logos, connected-channel posts, anything else. You give us a license to store, process, and analyze it strictly to provide BrandGuard’s features to you (running a scan, generating a Compose suggestion, and so on). We don’t use your content to train any AI model — see the Privacy Policy for how analysis actually works (via Anthropic’s Claude API).
Connected channels
Connecting Instagram, Facebook, or X is also subject to that platform’s own terms — you’re responsible for having the right to connect an account and for complying with the connected platform’s own rules. We only read what those platforms’ official APIs return to us.
AI output isn’t guaranteed
Findings, health scores, and Compose rewrites are AI-generated suggestions based on the brand guidelines you provided — not a guarantee of accuracy or completeness. You’re responsible for reviewing anything BrandGuard suggests before you rely on it or publish it.
Fees
The beta is free — no payment method is collected. Once BrandGuard opens paid plans, pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be presented before you’re charged anything, and these terms will be updated to cover them.
Termination
You can stop using BrandGuard and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or, during the beta, for any reason — see “The beta” above.
No warranty, limited liability
BrandGuard is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, IpsoLux isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BrandGuard, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is $0).
Changes
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, if you have an account, let you know. Continuing to use BrandGuard after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
